I gaze into
the midnight sky
And watch a shooting star go by -
I wonder how it came to be
And how it happened that I'm me.
What makes a
seed sprout roots and grow?
When yesterday's gone, where does it go??
Why is it a rainbow can never be touched?
Why does the wind blow, out West, so much?
How do
honeybees always find home
How do they know how to make their combs?
Who changes the colors on rabbits' fur?
Who selects the oysters to grow lovely pearls?
Why are roses
protected by thorns
And who numbers the kernels on ears of corn?
What makes the tide go out and in
Where does it all begin, and end??
Yes, the
universe is a mystery
I've pondered it all, and now I see
Just how all of it came about --
God planned it well, without a doubt.
